My skin routine - combination skin

In my first post I’d like to talk about combination skin. If you are the ”lucky” owner of this type of skin, you know what I’m talking about – constant battle with shinny T-zone, dry patches on chicks or nose, compromising on cosmetics. While being at work or school you are wondering: how shinny my complexion is at the moment and you run there every 2 hours to matt your face.
I have been having troubles with my combination skin and spots for years. In the end I came up with skin care routine that works for me. I do test many products, but these cosmetics are my favorite and I stick to them when I don’t want any surprises.
In the morning I usually like to use cosmetics that will cleanse my face throughly. One of the best face washes I found is Anatomicals. If it wasn’t for its properites, I would have bought it for its beautiful and funny package – it totally cheers me up in the morning and stands out on a bathroom shelf as well. Thanks to the lactic and salycylic acid in its ingredients, it cleanes my pores leaving my face clear and refreshed. What I love about this brand is that it doesn’t promise miracles, but you can achieve great results with their cosmetics. Then, depending on what my face needs at that moment, I use Anatomicals face cream or aloe gel (if my complexion needs soothing and is irritated).

In the evening I usually wash my face with the same gel. Then, if I am not half asleep  (testing Kueshi one at the moment) and I use some oils, in the picture you can see macademia oil with the addition of rose oil. Oils are great for face but since they are so many of them you need to look for the one that is suitable for you.

If I have any spots that need treatment (unluckily that is the case most of the time) I use tea tree oil. Once or twice in the week I have a face mask made of white clay with a few drops of tea tree oil.

And that’s it! Tell me about your beauty care. What works for you? Have you tried any cosmetics mentioned above?
